Gran’s Tea

through plug-in’s electric
tunnel, out the spout
of Gran’s tea
kettle,

into mouth of passive
vessel,

a brimming tub for cream
and sugar, left with but
a trace of grey earl’s
sharp savor

Gran would wince as i’d sit and sing,
sippin’ on spring’s bouquet of
flavours.
