Cometose (a star falls too close)

did you miss last
comet moment

sippin’ plain tea when
star’s breeze hit?

febrezing the stale from slumber’s
trace, calm tastes a bit like
our backyard lit up
like this,

she squirms into embrace
with her swerving
comet face,

condemned to own
congested space
.
