Sea Mist (Missin' You Wistful)

i guess you could say i
miss you mistfully,

not in a sad way, guess you’d
say these rains spit at us
so wistfully,

revisiting lost life history,
no mist on cheek, no sad
swimmers in my sea,

though her waves curl
pained enough for
mist to be.

    • Aww, I am glad to hear it. I wish I could bring him out more often, but when I try to write romance when that’s not what’s bubbling up, the results become scattershot and don’t feel true at the time I write it. Thanks Jeanne!
