she’s the good witch stitching
magic into lips worn
like leather,
it burns too deep in the pit
to be dismissed,
as kiss,
crawl down from space-
curl up in room’s
lone corner,
i’ll be your firm but
lazy babysitter,
if what you desire’s a
cloudy cover,
i’ve got yarn but must
confess i’m clumsy
as the ‘knitter’..
++++
learning to work
a rusty needle
better
for the scabs once
my fingers.

I’ve several “crafty” friends – they knit, they quilt or sew or crochet. As I read this piece, all their faces appeared before me, and that soothed me. ❤
That’s amazing! I’ve always ha the desire to but my fine motor skills aren’t great. I am better suited in areas with far larger margins for error! Haha! Thanks for sharing that with me. 🙂
Love this! ❤
