Protests the Sun
dawn blushes on a dusty
sunroom despite
protest from
the sun,
summer’s sill escapes your
passing shadow
for a bask in
warmer
one,
and it kinks my heart to
know that passing
shadow
weighs a tonne and
that’s soaked in
noonday
sun,
now fallen somber
you protest
all fun.
