sounds are a
muffled
gurgle
while safe
under water,
a place no trouble’s
fool enough
to follow,
where no thing’s
a pressured
matter,
safe in womb
of tepid
water
head caves
under,
till resurfaced
from brief
slumber
fresh and
unencumbered.
