the family frame
slips an inch
further
down
the wall,
each year, and
every face goes
black and
white,
and
wallpaper’s
shedding
fake plastic
flowers,
in a
windfall..
..scattered,
and each
year
i crawl an inch
further up
the wall,
and..
some years,
no inch
at all.
