magic’s lasting
when it’s
cast
from faithful
hands,
heart cheering
on nervy
fingers
from nest deep
within the
cage,
magic’s roused
spark never
fizzles,
and under right spell,
the acid spits of
rain feel
much
kissing under a
mild night’s
drizzle.
