i’ve been around the
bowl too many
times to
stay
below water’s skin,
in this murk of
tears and
scraps
while stomach’s
acrobats are
kinked
in squirmy
gnarl,
gnawing through
lining’s cloth,
but thoughts are
freed to..
nowhere
at all,
i’ve been so many times
around the bowl
all i see’s
walls.
