a wingless
angel,
he giggled while
pinning my
wrist
to stained woods
of crowded
table..
gently and with
much ease,
i felt no need
to scream
when
humbled..
just thanked him for
love’s tough
lesson,
and
sat up,
marveled
as lights caressed
his unflexed
marble.
