consider
demands its
all i do,
and i’m not
strong enough today
to turn away,

by hidden cables,
attached at

blended until there’s no
us vs. them.
parade me before your
judgments,
let not reactions
hinder my
poise,
and

of embracing acceptance
mask outer
noise.
stepped outside
the lines
to find nothing looked
like i’d assumed,
then scanned the backdrop
to see i was still
trapped,
only in different
room.

soothe..
me into feather
mood,
so drive this beat right
down the road–
where you wait
at lover’s
bend
like music’s always
been my best
friend.
deliver hope
on gentler tongue,
to ears in need
of nurture,
to souls in fear
of futures
yet to be etched
in sky.
like scratched out
graffiti–
i cant quite decipher
message,
though i make
out random
edges
when eyes strain
just right.
i’ve tapped into
something
that i can’t
unsee,
despite exhaustive
attempts at
relief,
i’ve wandered in
somewhere
a soul can’t
escape–
so it’s best i stay lost
and create.
i often rest
awake
where
others have slept
and wonder
what they’ve dreamt
while
in same bed..
same room..
while lit up by
the same
moon.
in
a river,
laid out for your
current
to claim my frame
without
fight,
drag me wherever
needed-
don’t need a
reason.
