night frosts my
eyelids
while
i search
as if you can’t
be found,
i part the
sky
so you can’t
hide
then motion you
on down.
shooting star
sailing a graceful
breeze your
way,
feel my coming
on cresting
wave
from the other
side of
sky you gaze
upon
like it’s forgotten
your face.
much like
a shooting star,
your flash too far
for me to
see,
scarcely notice you
from bare
land,
but can you
wave to
me?
