like stars
in a blooming cosmos,
those flecks in
your eyes
held me
mesmerized,
as planets swirled
about
us
threatening
collision.
the celestials
rest me in late’s
starbed
so that i may watch
the comets
encircling your
now weary
head..
and do feel
free
to lay
with me.
